Why Is Fear Paralyzing?

Why does fear paralyze us so much? Think about it. A guy wants to ask out a girl and he can't take the step. A person has a secret that they fear others to know, so they feel lonely and isolated. Someone stays in the same job or same relationship for years that they cannot stand. They stay stuck. Why? The underlying feeling is fear.

Get Involved. Facilitate!

Restore Ministries' small groups are places where community, growth and support all happen simultaneously. Many who go through one small group end up understanding and experiencing the freedom that comes with being truly known and accepted by others.

Facilitators of these small groups foster that environment and have the ability to walk with other people, no matter where they are on life's journey.

Women's Self-Esteem Classes

"Self-esteem in women peaks when they are nine years old, then takes a nose dive," clinical psychologist Robin F. Goodman writes on the New York University Child Study Center Web site.

Restore Ministries recognizes that low self-esteem in women is prevalent, whether it is low self-esteem that affects their view of their body, relationships, career, and general areas of life. This is why Restore is offering four Journey to a Life of Significance classes in February and March.
